Ugly Old-Ascalon

Hi guys,
I know the word searing is to burn something... and thats what it looks like in Old Ascalon... I just got there yesterday. Any chance its going to look nice, green, and lush soon? Or around there? Or anything? I got tired of looking at it while playing yesterday. The dry, harsh, canyon-esque landscape made the gameplay very boring to me. Is there some place to look forward to? Thanks.

At Gates of Kryta things start to get a little greener again. But you have to get through the bleak mountains to get there, good luck! There was an article about the 8 environments of GW, some nice screen shots there it would give you an idea of what to expect... not sure where it was I think there was a link to it on the GW site
