Can you make gold dye?

I spent last night hunting for supplies to make the nice armor for my necro. I got enough silver dye to make it all silver. I had heard someone talking about gold dye, and was wondering if all you had to do was add yellow to an existing piece of silver armor.

OK I played around with it a little bit. Seems like you could get a gold with 2 yellows, an orange and a silver. Or switch the yellow/orange numbers for a darker gold.

If the colors on that program are accurate, I think I am better off just staying with plain silver

i mixed a yellow + green just to clear up some space.. When i used it on my necro it looked pretty goldy.

LOL!!!! has anyone tried to mix yellow and blue??? The color SHOULD be green...it comes out grey. The problem is not with my monitor or color depth settings. It's the same grey as the one in the right bucket.

I decided what the heck, and to just throw some yellow in with the silver, and this is how it came out. Actually quite happy with my new look.

cloud, this thread is from 2005...the comments here were pre-dye updates. The website doesn't even exist anymore. I'd recommend you check out the dye charts people have done here on guru.
