Attribute Point Rip-off???

I'm currently playing a level 5 Warrior/Mesmer Pre-Searing, just doing a few errands before going to the Academy. I've noticed that when I level I accrue 5 attribute points per level instead of the 10 points I had read about. Is this just a Pre-Searing thing? How do I get my full 10 points per level?

Level 1-10 , 5 attribute points
Level 10-15 , 10 attribute points
Level 15-20 , 20 attribute points

Those are the distributions.

10 - 1 = 9, 9 * 5 = 45.
15 - 10 = 5, 5 * 10 = 50.
20 - 15 = 5, 5 * 20 = 100.
45 + 50 + 100 = 195.
So there's either an error in that (perhaps you get 25 points from 19-20?), or there's a quest or something that gives 5 attribute points.

you only have like 180 at level 20 you have to do 2 missions to get the last bit.

I asked a dev after I reached ascention and couldn't do 12 10 8 and that was the response.

I believe you have 170 at level 20 and you have to do 2 quests (15 points each) to reach 200.

Correct.


Levels:

1-10: 5 pts each level beginning at 2 (45)
11-15: 10 pts (50)
16-20: 15 pts (75)

45+50+75=170

then 2 missions for 15 more pts each = 30 pts.
