I havent been on lately and i was wondering why the sickle is worth so much. Why is so rare and is it better then the other axes? Anyone have a screen shot?

You would never be able to sell the thing (like you'd want to anyway) because its in-game value would essentially be infinite.
And yes, low damage sickles aren't really that rare. I just found a 6-16 sickle about a week ago.

12AL 45/-2 enchanted in jungle, 16AL 45/-2 stance in desert.
As for a gold dropping with these stats, 45/-2 is only achievable in enchanted form. Max is +30hp stance on a gold shield.
So now you're looking for a gold shield to drop with 16AL, 45/-2 enchanted. That's going to take a very long time.
Trading is a much more efficient use of your time.

I have been keeping an eye out for extra special holy rods (monk) but have only found mediocre ones. In the higher levels (currently 13) do you see more? Or will i end up being a sword toting monk.

i dont know about how gusnahc said chaos axes are rare. the other day in FoW i found 8 in one run :P And not many people know of raven staffs, although while farming around Droks thats almost all i find

Max Damage Ghostly Staff w/perfect inherent mods. Heck, ANY Ghostly Staff would fetch a pretty penny, really.

because sickles are NOT rare in the least. in fact, they are rather common. the only thing that would make a sickle worth anything is the fact that to my knowledge NOT ONE max dmg sickle exists, and certainly no max dmg 15>50 gold ones.
now, it stands to reason that IF this were possible, it would exist by now, due to the relatively high occurance of sickles in the world of guild-wars. so it would be rare in the sense that onyl one exists, but as i said, i believe if it were possible many would have sprung up by now, and they would be no more special than a cleaver.

Last time i was in UW was 3 or 4 days ago and ghostly staves DID drop... I will check next time I get in but i'm pretty sure too they still exist, just look at the Ventari's section and you'll see people asking for price checks on ghostly...

Went to UW tonight and YES ghostly staves still drop; very few of them but i managed to get a gold one from chest and a mate one from smiters.
They might be rarer now because drops are much much worse after the last update, at least from my experience. Less globs and almost never max dmg weapons. If it's my bad luck i hope it will go away soon.

do any missions in the southern shiverpeaks. max dmg clean Battlepicks drop there all the time. i got like 7 of them in one thunderhead keep run one night.

No kidding, ghostly staves are rare? This is kind of a not so hot one, but the skin is pretty neat so I've been holding on to it.

I don't think Eternal or Storm bows are that rare - not going by the amount for sale on here and in-game, hard to get a good max one maybe, but not rare. I'd say the rarest bow is a gold max Dead bow as they're harder to get than hens teeth, and they very rarely come up for sale.

I bought this a week after starting the game (without the vampiric and armor upgrades). My character is a ranger/warrior, so the -1 energy regen is not a big deal, for the ability to deal max damage without other conditions.
I m starting to think that this thing is pretty rare, I could never find ou hear of a 15% with regen energy -1, and I searched...

I have never seen a eye drop, in my entire GW life (4 ascended characters). I've only had 1 claw drop and seen a tooth drop for a party member.
