Domination line.

Divert Hex

Energy 15. Recharge 25.
Removal one hex from target ally, that hex is disabled for 10...47 seconds.

Divert Enchantment. 15 Energy Recharge 25
Remove one enchantment from target foe, that enchantment is disabled for 10...47 seconds.

I think those are better than the Shatter or Inspire line. To the point where they are actually playable, especially the Enchantment one.

Give Arcane Thievery a try... not only do you disable thier spell... you get to use it!

No real need to create a new skill when there is already a similar skill...

But that is random and doesn't act as an effective counter for anything. These would be effective and playable spot enchantment removal.

Well... you already have Shatter Hex/Enchantment... I can understand the desire to want spells disabled, but is really necessary to get a new skill for it?

You've got Power Block and Blackout (althoug Blackout disables you as well). I don't think having a skill that combines the powers of two other spells is needed.

Never said I did use it, I'm just trying to work out why you want a skill that is a combination of other skills?

Shatter is a perfectly good skill, if that's your build. As a matter of fact... give this one a try: Dual Shutdown

I mean... isn't shutting other spell caster down what Mesmers are supposed to do?
