I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I've searched the forum a few times and can't see anything on this anywhere.
I'm playing as a Ranger and I've seen other rangers trying to buy Bow Upgrades - what are these? I've never encountered anything that upgrades a weapon and I've been playing this game for quite a while.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

An upgrade is just a magical thing you can add to your wepon (like a rune or dye to armor) for a bow its a grip and a bow sting i do believe

If you expert salvage a weapon thats named, ie Zealous Bow of Fortitude, Flaming Battle Axe of Charslaying, etc, you have a chance of getting 1 of 3 things. Components (wood, iron, steel, etc) or one of the upgrades in the weapon. In the case of the bow I mentioned above, an expert salvage could give you Wood, A Zealous Bowstring, or a Bow Grip of Fortitude. The first word for bows is always the string and the last one is always the grip. You can then take this upgrade piece, double click it and put it on a new bow.
