Looks like IGN wanted to get on the Update band wagon tonight like everyone else, but who can blame them! Gratz to IGN for the look inside the Furnace

| Once shackled, players will have the run of the Furnace and be able to collect all kinds of information. In fact, because of the shackles, players will have the opportunity to talk to enemies for the first time and interact with them, even going so far as to accept quests from them. Eventually, plot twists and turns will change the landscape of the fiction and place heroes on the path to victory over the Stone Summit dwarves, but not without a serious fight. |

Finally, no more chest farmers. I applaud you ArenaNet. Wasn't the key idea mentioned on here first? I know for a fact that someone suggested it a while ago...is that where Anet got the inspiration from?
Anyway, IGN have made the update sound really exciting...much better info than the usual "you will like it". (no offense Gaile
)
Sounds like one hell of a nasty place to venture. I have my protection monk on standby!!
I bet FoW will look like a picnic compared to this baby.
[Looks at clock]
So, the keys are key to the replayability then. Hunt often in sorrows furnace...get more keys and reap more rewards. This sounds like a good idea.
Lets hope that Anet have made the chest items "MAX with best mods" and not some crummy rare 14-21, +15>50, -5 energy, fellblade.
That one point damage make the difference to almost everyone.
All us farmers have to do is endure the dreaded PUG again.
I can see the nearest town to the furnace turning into a badass noobtrap...far worse than the desert.
[Looks at clock again...damnit, only 30 seconds elapsed]
I wonder what tweaks will appear in the rest of Tyria.
I've been up all night, it's 6:15 AM and now i'm all hyped up again! Coffee or bed, coffee or bed? Hmmm....

In the evening? Whew, I won't have to skip classes.
Oops, didn't realize the thing was 3 pages long. This sounds intense (although I'm not entirely thrilled about the don't let the NPC die thing). 30-40 quests? Did I read that right? Augh, it didn't reveal the exact location although there has been speculation naturally about where it may be.
The key thing sounds like a great idea. The fact that each person (as long as they have a key) gets something from the chest is just superb.
