Anybody find it yet?

Well 31 minutes after release (assuming usual 3am eastern patch time)... anybody found the footprint yet?

who said its released? anet has no obligation to release it the second your time zone changes dates.

Since beta almost every update happens at the same time. 3am eastern.

So you honestly think they are just going to throw it on everybody's map, and be able to travel to it, without having to look for it? Mabye, but I doubt it.

well its the 7th of sept in australia so im hoping to get it today
but i dont mind waiting another day

i dont think so they would want us to find it as just plonking it on the map will get all the noobs and peeps who get run everywhere because they cant be bother to follow the story causing havoc around there !!! :-)))

They said on their site that it'll be out in the evening their time but things can always change. I would look anywhere from 7-11 p.m eastern time.

the frog has just said (in the last half hour) that it will indeed be in the arfternoon west coast american time (Dont know actual zone name).

The Frog was just in International District 1 and one of the things it said repeatedly was that people should go to bed if they're just standing around waiting

Also said something along the lines of "The Frog expects Sorrow's Furnace in the evening of this day but does not have an hour"

That would be the Pacific Time Zone, -8 hours GMT.

so we don't have a specific hour....

Well, i know for sure it's not out in the UK yet. As a fairly large update, it's gonna be something that takes a noticeable amount of time for the client to download on startup, and even with broadband it's not gonna happen so fast i don't notice. But the game started as usual, didn't dload anything new....so not out yet

To us europeans, this presents an interesting dilemma: go to sleep very late or wake up very early

Either way, today is a good day for coffee companies.

im not good with timezone differences so ill just play WoW or fable till tomorrow around this time.

I was hoping the update would be out by the time I woke up but nooo, they just HAD to drag it out as long as possible. Oh well, I think I can managed a few more hours.

Well, I'm excited that the update is finally going to be with us in a couple of hours.....

But I'm going to probably avoid the new areas for a day or so. Firstly, it will be too crowded & congested. I'm sure that there will be 1001 traders suddenly move from LA to peddle their wares in the nearest districts, runners, haXX0rs, noobs and hardcore players who ABSOLUTELY HAVE to be the first people into the district, the first to farm it rotten, and the first to have any exclusive and valuable drops posted on the trade channel for 200k.

I'm still looking forward to it, but seriously guys, what's the rush? OK, it's a new update, but it's not a limited time only. It's here to stay! Take it at your own pace and don't feel obliged to have the areas farmed, mapped sussed and pwned within 2 days, then appear on GWG complaining that it's too easy/hard/difficult to get to/dark/large/small etc.
