max energy on 1 handed weapons is +5. which is very rare and will most likely cost around 100k.

I had a one handed necro weapon that had +12 energy.. can you get the same kind of thing with monk?

Yes I have a One Handed devine Favor rod with +14energy -1 energy regen and 9% Skill regen. They r vary rare though.
