Dye your Axe silver and the outer glow represents a dark hue. Which looks like black.

I dyed mine blue, which gave it the red glow. I did that as my warriors armor is dyed a reddish pink color. will probably be changing it soon though. Will post a screenie when I get home.

no it makes it white, i have many that i died silver

Actually, if you dye it silver, you get mostly white with a slight pinkish glow around it (Very slight) if you dye it black, then it is pure white.
You cannot dye it a color to make the axe black
I have tried all the colors, but it follows this basic formula, it will dye the oposite color of the color of dye you use on it... black is white, blue is red, ect.
My favorite is pure white, because I change armor and secondary a lot, and white goes well with everything!
