DirectSong Music Pak

I downloaded the mini-pak they are offering for the SF update. When it was done, WMP played the music. Now, my question is this. Will this new music be IN the game after I get the update or will I have to play the music via WMP while the game is running?

I think it will be part of the game. It's a preview of the music in Sorrow's Furnace I believe.

The music will be played ingame. This DirectSong mini-pak is required for the new music to actually be ingame, as the music itself will not be streamed with the update download... that would make the download way too large for dialup users. So players can choose to either download the Sorrow's Furnace mini-pak from DirectSong, or skip it altogether.

So once I download it, and it asks me where to install it, should I select my GW dir if i want the music played ingame?

No, you can download to a folder of your choice, and it will create a subfolder there.

My question is, with the GW soundtrack there were instructions on making the downloaded, better quality music work in-game.

There were no instructions like that for the mini-pak.
How do I know its working?
Is it by going to the new areas, and if there is music at all, then it works?
