Detailed Char. Stats Page?

Hi everyone, excuse me if I am way off base here. I just got the game (mainly attracted by the no monthly fee service and that most other MMORPG[i know this is supposed to not technically be one] take forever to get anywhere).

Anyway, since I started playing RPGs on the NES I have always noticed a character stats screen with FULL details.

Charcter Name
Level
Experience
Next Level

Str.
Energy/Mana
Atk.
Dmg.
Def.
Magic Orientation
Agility
etc.

The list varies per game, but this game has none WHY!!

First off, I can't tell if one bow is better then the next other then stated damage...if areanet people came from the Blizzard team shouldn't this at least do the basic functions of Diablo's character stats page...you can see the effective change to damage, hp, mana, etc.

I think this would also help to clarify how game items are used better as you have a page to see these items on.

Please do not give me a "they are saving this for an expansion" responce. This to me is a KEY and Vital RPG element MM or not.

I just would like to know if you feel one is needed as well, or maybe someone call tell me why it would go against the sands of time and omit something always there.

Know I know many smaller things are scatter, HP/Mana on the main screen, experience is there. I just want a nice "data sheet" that allows you to see how you are developing and enhancing your character.

I agree there need to be more statistical data. At this point I'd even take just showing what my total armor is :-)

agreed on seeing my total armour! on the more detailed stats... hmmmm well i do love stats (try typing in /age or /deaths) but dunno about the other things... the game just doesn't seem to have them. A warrior could probably do with an adrenalin bar though I guess *shrug*

One stat I would like to have is /kills so that when deaths reaches 1994 I can feel good coz kills are 1995 lol

There is no total armor. Each armor piece protects only its specific body part. Here is a good guide giving details of the armor system.

I don't understand the comment. Each item has an armor value associated it with it. I'd like to see what those total up to on the Hero page.

Why? It would be giving false information on what your armor is.

Quote:
Armor Location - Hit Percentage

Chest - 37.5%

Legs - 25%

Head, Arms, and Feet - 12.5%

The armour piece that is struck the most is the Chest, statistically it is likely to be struck three times more often than the head, arms and feet and 3/2 or fifty percent more often than the legs.
There is no total armor.

Basically, what they're saying, is the Arms only protect your arms. The chest peice only protects you chest.

And as such, you only need to compare 1 item with 1 item. So you already have the total you need. I agree however, I would LOVE to see a page full of random stats.
