1. follow the story.
2. dont buy stuff from people, youll likely get scammed as a newb
3. join a guild to leech off of, and ask for a max weapon.

yeah be very careful, there is a big squirrel in post that eats warrior monks as soon as they arrive, i would advise remaining in presearing forever, or being more specific with what tips you need.
