I thought about greens prizes.
The error everyone does is messing up Green items with gold items but they are just improved collector items!
Collector items sell fairly for 0,5 to 7 plat (depending on the item) because of the efford you spend in them and in their demand.
I would say that getting a special collectors item is N-times as hard as getting a special green item. Therefore the prize should be N-times as high.
I think its 4 or 5 times as hard to get a a certain green item than a collectors item.
That makes green item prizes from 2 to 30 plat, depending on the item, realistic.

Just managed to trade for a Malinon's Shield, max armor +45 while enchant -2 while enchant. Aegis graphic too, which is what I use. I'm happy

From a monetary perspective, the green items seem worthless. The fact that the +5 energy sword is no longer aviable however should make it the most valuable item existing in GW. Unless, of course, every single non-customized copy got deleted.

Maybe the fact that it had upgrades... (if they messed up the algo to test item..) ?

My +5 energy sword has a +5 defense pommel. So maybe that's what saved it ^_^
Why on earth did they take them out?? I loved those swords! +5 energy is soo much better than +15% damage if you have a build with 5-energy skills in it.

All in all, I love the update and I'm pleasantly suprised at just how much stuff they added. Still, I'd really like to hear ANet's reasoning on the HoD weapon cut/change. Anyone got a link to them ever mentioning it? Kind of curious that they take weapons out of the game, and don't even mention it in the patch notes...
