From my knowledge, all of these are REQ9 and holds no merchant value.

all of these green items are also perfect. people are selling them for 100k to 300k. definitely not worth it! when every run guarantees a green drop.

don't overpay!!! not even worth 10k if u ask me. if you have a perfect weapon modded. try to salvage the upgrade out.. see if it lets u. im interested in finding out.

im glad someone is pointing this out. i think the green items are fun, but your gonna get one sooner or later, so dont bother paying a buttload for it.

what im curious about is if you can upgrade them even more.

I hope green crystallines are on the menu!

EDIT: Since these weapons are pretty much "perfect," this will drop the rares market like a sinking stone...

i believe that green weapons cannot be upgraded any more. what would be nice is to have green weapons that become YOUR personal weapon. like Anns fire staff...

pay maybe 1-5k for a green item MAX. Theyre easier to get than the unrare "rares"

well some of them are perfect, but not in good ways.
the necro one is +10 armor with faster death cast and fast recharge. im cursing so it is pretty useless to me.

I agree completely! Here is my post from another thread:

I think the patch kind of "dumbed down" Guild Wars a touch: get all your regular skills in Ember Camp so you don't even have to think or try to get to remote locations; get flawless items in PvE even without playing the market or learning the subtleties of the game, etc. In some ways, it gives new missions and short term content, but seriously undermines the long term incentives of the game, and while a commendable effort, will probably be a step in the wrong direction in the end for a long term player base. Without a great market and some truly challenging long term goals (unlocking everything, which became too easy to do on a single character last night), the only reason to keep playing is for the new content, which will only be new for a couple of weeks at most, and fresh content won't come that fast.

Here is what would have been cool: For 25 rubies and 25 sapphires, a smith deep in sorrow's furnace would have turned one of your perfect gold items into a green item named after you! What would people have paid to buy Lady Blue Steel's Longsword or Tall Shield or Nef's Chaos Axe or Storm Bow? That would have been cool, provided a money sink, and improved the economy . . .

Every run does not guarantee a drop. I've been in three times now and no greens seen by anybody. We even ran around killing those bosses on purpose for a while hoping to get one. Nothing.

But I do agree with you, nobody should be paying such outrageous amounts for these.

The thing is tho that Gw is morely a pvp based game than pve. So I dont think they are really focusing much on the PvE player. Also to note that money isn't anything in GW, as I have said many times before. What makes someone powerful is what they have unlocked, all money can do is bring looks, nothing more.

Getting cool and awesome items should not be the main focus of the game IMO, progressing and getting pvp stuff unlocked should. A game like GW can never have the kind of powergaming as Eq (a few people able to have more powerful items due to more time being spent raiding and such) because it would kill the balance that is currently in GW...(People having equal everything, and forcing skill into play)

There are plenty of games out there for farming loot and the such, but GW has a different scope.

Problem is, it took about a week to unlock everything for me, so what was left but to get cool and awesome items through PvE or get cool and awesome emotes through PvP?

I disagree. I like the PvP part of the game, but I truely enjoy the PvE game, as do most if not all of my guildmates. I think this game does a pretty good job of suceeding at BOTH PvP and PvE. You may be right as far as the Green Items, as I think they will kill the trading market, but maybe that was the purpose behind them. Most of this update was to do that IMHO. Keys for chests, green items, more gold items that are easier to get, etc., all are there to lower value in the secondary market and stop bots.

I think i'm going to start collecting green items as i don't have the resources (real or game money) to collect the insanely expensive Gold items. Would still be able to show off to the noobies :P i do pity those who bought gold items with real money on Ebay though... kinda sad to know that some noob is using a better/same weapon as you only the colour of the words are a bit different...
