Koreans in random PvP = Bad Bad Bad Idea

Sorry Anet but Koreans have an unfair advantage while playing against European or American players. The problem is that you can't tell one from the other by their names, it may sound stupid but it REALLY IMPAIRS TARGETING- especially while you try to keep an enemy caster disabled. Anyone else noticed this ?

What's wrong with control + space? Also, people from the Korea and non-English speaking Europe would have the same problem when fighting American and English teams.

Thats what the (1) (2) (3)....etc are for. I've never had a problem with this ever.

Koreans complain about the exact same thing when they play against Americans or Europeans. It's not an advantage, it's a disadvantage for everyone - mitigated by the numbers tacked onto everyone's names for this issue alone.

In fact I only look at numbers now.

How exactly are their names different from tomb groups? You never fought Koreans there?

i'm tabbing the enemies, pick my target (or simply heed someone elses target call) and during that whole time, i've got nothing to do with names. Just looking at classes and guessing what kind of offense and defense they might bring hitting ctrl + space or t. Done dio.

I really like competing against koreans and americans in the random arenas now. Kinda brings the word "COMPETITION" back into the Competition Arenas

I look at numbers too, but I must admit it's not really as user-friendly as detecting your target's name on the screen.

Ideally, ANet would implement an automated name replacement (optional). Basically all Korean names would be replaced by a generic name (from an extensive list) which would be understandable by Americans & Europeans, and all A/E names would be replaced by a Korean generic name. It would make the identification process much easier, and using generic names wouldn't be much different than reading incomprehensible symbols on the screen.

Honestly I don't really care what the names are. I look at the skills I see them casting. Control+Space FTW. Numbers work too. Really, this is just an issue on voie chat, cause it's hard to pronounce "ADLFJEIANCIESA" (image a bunch of Korean letters here). Haven't figured out a solution to this one yet :/

Its a great idea. I might actually get to play against people with some skill.
