why does a-net have to force me to play with other people
I leave war camp take my party of henchies we fight our way to sorrows furnace
before I get there I start the quest from "high priest asshat" anyway we get into sorrows furnace and he says "it is better for a member of your party to stay here and help guard me"
im thinking damn im with frikin henchies so anyway I got to get him some crystals so ok I start trying to get them for him I would agro a group and pull them back too him and kill the group attacking him and the group with crystal at same time
pretty damn anoying...
anyway I am on the 4th crystal and on my way back I get stuck and die
I think there either
A: the quest not force u too use real people
B: be a /henchman_stand_ground command....
other than that rock on a-net awsome job

find good players and start a friends list with them. i see no reason why anet should make quests easier for people who want to be anti social :P
there are a lot of good people out there to play with. perhaps you have not found them cause you ahve played with henchies up till now.

nope im in a guild have alot of friends
but other than my friends the other 98% of people on guildwars suck ass
the problem is i am always on late at night because of stuff i have to do doing the day so noone of my friends are able to play with me
{today bieng a really rare day i am home doing the day}
work {ect}
and i do not repeat DO NOT want them to make it easier......
just change something ? add new henchie command?
but other than my friends the other 98% of people on guildwars suck ass

while i agre tht there are a lot of not so good players out there i think 98% is a gross overstatement lol
i am also not sure about henchie commands as they would be very hard with 7 henchies to give commands to.

Has anyone other than me noticed that all the terrible players come out after dark? Like vampires, they crawl from the darkness and try to suck your time, and uh... money and other stuff...

And yes, I would love to see henchie commands too, but I can see a few problems with that, an example being a person ordering henchies to fight without ever raising a sword or wand themselves.

Yeah playing with other real people is fun but what's wrong with using henchies only? You don't have to tell someone he's antisocial or whatever just because he wants to use henchies. Like he said, sometimes playing in odd hours is hard to find people and if it's not odd hours, it's sometimes hard to get in a group...oh you're not a monk? My group needs a frigging monkey...you must be whatever rank, experienced or bla bla bla.

I happened into a guild full of great ppl. I do most of my stuff with guildies. I do go into the occasional PUG and more times than not it's a pretty cool experience. Good luck with the henchies. Oh, and if you like solo...Dungeon Seige 2 is out...maybe that would be more to your liking.

I love playing with my guild but sometimes i like to go solo with just me and henchies this it would be cool for a stand ground command...
and yes 98% might be a bit much maybe 90%

I team up with guildmates also if they are on; if not I tend to use henchies because my primary is a Mesmer and most groups are looking for a Warrior or Monk. By the time I do get into a group 20 minutes have past by, one of the group leaves party, and another goes AFK.

One of the reasons I started playing Guild Wars was because of the option of being able to play single or multiple player. I don't have an unlimited amount of time to sit and play so I like the option of dropping out with henches when needed (without guilt). The beauty of the game is in its flexibility to cater to people with different playing styles and interests. I don't believe it should be the choice of Anet or the GW masses to dictate how the individual should play. If someone wants to play solo, that is their choice and, quite frankly, their business. Just my two cents...

Also like some others mentioned, I bought this game not for the MP / Team gaming but for the solo action and I'm enjoying it that way.
[edit] I just made it to that quest the OP mentioned with henchies. wtf?
