Besides that, I don't know why one would choose bow A. If your doing pure damage-ranger, then you'd do better with a bow that has the fastest reload (like shortbows and half-moons).
If anybody else has any other ideas about this, I would like to know as well.

So for example (numbers are made up, but the logic stays), if bow A has flight time of 0.5 seconds and bow B has flight time of 1 sec., then using bow B over bow A will give your foe and extra 0.5 sec. to finish casting his/her spell.

Aren't faster arrows harder to dodge, as well?

That's all true and good, but it is 6 of 1 and half dozen of the other. Because, say bow A has the flight time of .5 seconds, but has a refire rate of 1 second. Then say bow B has a flight time of 1 second with a refire rate of .5 seconds. Technically if you are just spamming fire at a target and continuously hitting him, I would rather go for the faster refire rather than the flight time due to the fact that you will be hitting him more frequently.
More hits = better chance of interruption
More hits = more damage

I'll share my strategy for all these variables. In PvP, I always switch between a Flat Bow and Recurve Bow. The flat bow is fastest refire rate and longest range, but slowest arrow (thus less accurate against dodges). The Recurve Bow is average refire rate and range, but fastest arrow. The only time I ever switch to Recurve Bow is when the target starts dodging attacks.
