Having spent three hours solo in Sorrows

I have unlocked 13 weapon upgrades 6 Runes. And with the purchase of Keys have been getting some super gold rares and even two green drops.

Everyone is now selling gold rares and the price has plumeted from 15plat to about 2plat per item.

I like it this way but wondered how many didnt

Personally - I love it!

Finally the true value of all those golds are becoming realised, and if the item doesn't suit you, then it can be sold to the merchant, modded, salvaged or traded at a more sensible price than the normal 50-100k+ that traders seem hell-bent on getting.

I had a few golds in my storage before the drop, and was unfortunate not to have sold them before the update, but never mind. Now I can happily get rid of them and save more important things in storage.

Only people I can see who won't like the new system are people who commonly sell their "Uber godly" items for extremely high prices. Now they'll have to start finding their money elsewhere (Like actually going out to earn it rather than relying on luck). Looks like weapon mods are going to be the new hot property to sell, cos golds are easy to find, and greens aren't much more difficult.

Everybody else must feel like it's Christmas. Now they CAN have the right weapon for them, in gold or green, and not be at the mercy of an extortionate trader.

Finally, for those who are into both PvE AND PvP, Anet have made it easier to UAS. It's still a potnetial grind, but not half as much! PvPX-style faction, sup runes falling more frequently, weapon mods being easier to unlock....! Excellent!!

I would guess 90% at least are happy with the new update. The only ones I see complaining are those who got their exploits nerfed, or who have found their "uber godly" stock value has plummetted and they've lost their customers. Ya boo sucks for being so greedy in the first place.

The economy has always been arbitrary, because nothing really has value anyway. So it's not the end of anything, if you find a guy who has a giant pile of money with nothing to use it on, maybe he'll give you an extra 20k for something... that's how it goes. You can sell greens right now even to the same people who are aware the boss that dropped it is a a 15 second walk away... why... because it's a game. Maybe someone just feels like buying instead of trying chance.
