Wayward Monk for the Suck!

The Wayward Monk quest is BROKEN!

It is impossible, I ran runs on it for about 5 hours today. Please, PLEASE make it so that we can reach Mhenlo BEFORE he's obliterated. KTHNX ANET!

the reason why you can't find him is because he gets killed behind that mountain of wooly mammoth riders

i spent almost 6 hours doing this, but i didn't realize he was dead so i cleared most of that zone looking for him

how the hell do they expect us to kill all those wooly mammoth riders things before the stupid monk dies?!?!? he dies in about 30 seconds if i remember correctly.

lol i actually managed to do it (too bad im not a monk but helped a group of 4) however I do agree it's stupidly hard! We got lucky; managed to skirt the first group of monsters, get round the back of the group near him and luckily only one attacked him which we soon wiped out and the rest went for us. But it was VERY difficult and it was mainly luck that let us complete it.

Perhaps if the mobs just don't spawn quite so close to him?

Well I found him, but my quest wouldn't update when I talked to him. I was annoyed.

Because you have to A. Save him and then B. Bring Cynn to him.

This quest is stupidly near impossible. But here's the secret.

• Get a Wa/Mo with the sprint and a Direct heal spell
• Send the Wa/Mo straight at mhenlo, he's to the left of the gate, behind the ryders
• The Wa/Mo should be healing Mhenlo, whilst dealing with his direct attackers
• Ignore the group between the gate and the ryders near mhenlo
• Charge directly to Mhenlo with the rest of the party
• From here on, it's just take out the Ryders (because the can heal) and anything that may be hitting Mr. Mhenlo
• It's possible, because I did it today, in the group with Pevil Lihatuh

EDIT: Oh, those of you that can;t find him, if he dies, his body dissapears promptly. If He dies, leave the area, then come back in.

There's actually a tip from GWOnline.net that says if you or your party members have too many quests out there, the monsters from the multiple quests spawn where they shouldn't and that's why Mhenlo gets annihilated. Several people have reported having absolutely no problems getting to him with just the Wayward Monk mission. The issue seems to be the Minnar's Problem quest, so don't go for that one until you rescue Mhenlo.

It is a hard quest at first. Just leave and go back to it later in game. It was easy for me when i got to lvl 15.
