People that ruin the game, stay away from people like this guy...

GW is a great game, but just like any online game, you get a bunch of people who have something wrong with them and tend to ruin the experience. I generally dont whinge about that, because there are simply too many of them. I play counter ctrike and you see them everyday. But today I have met the biggest **** that I have ever encountered in any online game. I thoguth CS was bad enough, but this guy just pushed it to far.

It all started when my team and I did the mission for Priest Alkar in Sorrows Furnace. I thoguht I got a fine team, but this person, to whom I am referring (lets give him the name "A" since its against the rules to post peoples names...) started to abuse one of my teammates as we were gathering the crystalls and bringign them to the priest. At first I thoguth it was usualy, you see that once in a while, this guy "A" accused the teammate of being slow and aggroing mobs. Anyway he dies, and this guy "A" says "dont res him" and starts to make fun of him being dead. The guy "A" also adds: "if you res him I will go afk" a minute later a monk ressurects our fallen teammate and the dude "A" goes AFK as planned. At this stage however we had 3 crystals by the priest and our 4th crystal was on the way with mobs chasing. The guy named "A" suddenly springs to action and takes the 4th crystal as we are fighting and runs to priest while we are still fighting. Once we are finished with them we try to find the last crystal, and guess what, this guy "A" has it and WOULD NOT DROP IT, after all that. Somehow or other we get another bunch of enemy on us and fight our way, without this "A" guys help.

This guy "A" said he would not drop the crystal UNLESS the teammate he had a grudge against leaves. Well...obviously he doesnt leave and "A" doesnt drop the crystal and in the end we lose the mission, after so long and so close to finish.

Please see the screenshot, you will see who I am referring to, the guy "A" is the guy who wouldnt drop the last crystal, why? I dont know, guess he wanted toteach someone a lesson? or think its funny? In the end someone aggroed a bunch of enemy and we all died, and everyone started swearign, obviosuly, at this "A" guy.

The point of this post is for you to watch out for that guy, I know there are a thousand more like him, but he pissed me off so bad that I simply had to post this, to show what a ****ing idiot thta guy was. I have never witnessed anythign liek that, but it sure pissed me off big time, thats about an hour worth of work gone to waste.

Please see the screenshot, the pople in my party window, after came back to city, can all prove what I have said. This post is not only me bitching for once (at the tiem i saw really pissed) but also a warning to keep away from morons like that.

They need to change those quests that involve collecting items to be universal in some way. At least in the ore quest when you're under the shackles you are able to grab more than the require number of ores.

That sucks a lot man, sorry to hear it. Next time, take henchmen or guildies. PUGs tend to make the ignore list too long.

I still want the /kick (insert name) function for group missions. It would require everyone else on the team voting to /kick (insert name) as welll but then you could have kicked him out and got the item back.

After that guy left, I went with the same party, along with some fresh recruits and did the mission again, succesfully because we knew what to do

Atleast you don't get random people trying to gather an "Anti-[Char name goes here]" Campaign and starts cussing cause your char is in Marhan's Grotto all the time. -_-'''

had that happen on elona's reach once. jerkoff got the last crystal then tried to make everyone in the group pay him 2k before he would give it to the ghost. i reported him and i know at least 2 of the other 4 did as well.

If this happens to anyone in the future try going and aggroing a mob,run them back to the offender and sprint away, mob will kill him he will drop the item and problem solved? I wish they would let us attack other players sometimes I will never do pugs again just to avoid these types of things. on a side note you can normally tell alot about a player by there names and anyone that named themself after that crappy game...well enough said

I am pretty sure you can report to Anet for such person... if more than one person supported you, the guy would get a warning... and if too many warning, you know what.

and if saying like "if you be an ass, you would get ban by Anet" these kind of people would appear less and less.
