1.5k knights to 15k ascalon armor

ok just wanted to ask,
1.5 k knights armor reduce 3 damage and 1.5 ascalon only reduces 2 damage.
But there is no 15k Knights armor, there are only Platemail, Dragon, Ascalon and Gladiators.
I want a full set of Platemail armor and 1 peice of arm armor that reduces damage. So im guessing that the 15k ascalon armor SHOULD reduce 3 damage instead of the 1.5 that only reduces 2 damage.
Am i correct? or does the 15k ascalon armor only reduce 2 damage WORSE than the 1.5k knights armor that reduces 3

Both the same, ascalon just for looks.

Might I ask where you got the info that Knights reduces damage by 3 and Ascalon by 2? Because every information I've read on these forums as well as the GWOnline forums says that they both reduce damage by the same amount - which is 2 points of damage.

Is this from personal experience? If so, are you sure you don't have a Rune of minor Absorbtion in your armor someplace? As that would be why the knights reduces 3 while ascalon only reduces by 2.. if you have a minor absorbtion rune in the knights armor of course it would absorb more damage

BTW, 15K armor's have the exact same stats as the 1.5K armor, they just have a different "look". Thats the only difference between them.
