Just finished tonight. I'd like to retry the last one in a 4 man group(like your suppose to), it seemed tooo easy with 6 IMO, just look at our moral boast, not a single person died the entire time. Here it is:
Pictures came out crappy after converting to jpg, meh. I'm the Mo/Me L O L Z

what quest is that and where is it?

It's the last quest you get from "The Vision of Glint" in Droknar's forge. New with the SF update.

How did you guys get your groups? I spent hours in Yaks and The Courthouse trying to get people to form up a team, but there simply wasn't anyone there that was high level that had the quest to do. Can't exactly take the lvl 5 henchmen out with you to kill titans, heheh.
Blue Steel
I bribed friends on my list who didn't even have the quest yet to come help me. It is a challenge with four, but pretty easy with 6 ran back from Yak's. I remember when I did it the first time, I had 3 friends and 2 strangers in the group, and the 2 strangers were absolute idiots: a monk who kept telling everyone the same thing over and over and over and complaining about everything, and an elementalist who was using skills without a skill attribute point in his skill slots!!
Not sure if he had recently changed secondary professions and intended to redistribute his points and never got around to spending any of them, or if he had never used his points in the first place, but they were both idiots and it was any wonder that we beat the mission. We would have been better off with 4.
I do think that without the right party members and perfect strategy, defending North Kryta is the absolute hardest of the five titan missions.

Just finished The Titan Source quest.. with only four people! Took awhile, and required a bit of strategic planning for some battles, but turned out rather well. Overall it was quite fun (and difficult!), and I want to see harder quests in the future.

Also did titan quest with 4ppl, not as hard as I thought (easier than LDD I think)
Need to clean the mob around and lure any lords out before taking the titans (take a while, but still can be done), after that it is piece of cake
I was lucky to find a group looking for 1 more to do the quest (took me 3 days to finally see one!)

does anyone here want to do this quest? I was with a group the other night, but by the time we got to the lake with 3 titan bosses, we killed all the spawning fire titans in the lake, etc, and all we had left was the charr and 3 bosses in middle, but we all had -60% DP and couldnt finish. I really would like to get this quest done, so I can go work on my SF quest(s). if anyone may be interested, i'll be on tonight at about 11:30 EST when i get home from class. IGN is Lord Volcom. We can do 4 from grendich courthouse, or we can do 6 and run from yaks bend, I dont really care just want to get this done, anyone else game for this tonight? If we can make a group now and just meet up tonight either in yaks or grendich it would be cool. I can never just log in and find a group for this. I am an Ele/Monk fire specced, so a ranger primary or secondary with winter would be needed/requested if possible. If only 4 people seem interested we could meet in grendich, if more than 4 seem interested we can just meet in yaks at a specific time/district. Reply here if you are interested. my guess is this would be a dead request, no one seems to ever want to do this. Monk(s) would be needed, a strong tank, and a few miscellaneous.
IndyCC
I have a warrior monk set up as tank with sword, protection, and strength. I would be interested in doing this quest with you as I too can never seem to get a group together for this. I can not give 100% that I would be able to be there at 11:30 EST, that would be 8:30 PST where I am from. But I would certainly try to get there.

oooh nice work.. i heard this one can be a pain sometimes, have to give it a crack

Congrats.
Although I really wish there was a better way to form a party for this one. I have yet to even attempt it because of the lack of people in the courthouse. Could do it with 6, but I did defending Kryta with 6 (as opposed to many who take 8), so I don't wanna 'cheat' on this one.

I did all the new titan quests with the "right" number.. other than LLD which was a pain til we foudn a monk who actually tried to keep Adleburn's sidekicks alive, did them first time.

After beating there's a possibility to redo the titans or have them again around?

I just finished Last Day Dawns, 3 weeks after finishing Defend North Kryta, mainly because I could never find a group (good or bad) that was ready for this quest. I am not sure if I will ever find some players to finish this final Titan quest, esp. after reading IndyCC's comment. I know how you feel.

One question: if you recruit high level henchmen, then enter an outpost with low level ones, do they downgrade?
Cause if they don't, I just found a use for my Reverse Droknar Run
Edit: They do. Stupid Beacons Perch, standing on my path to glory!

I was in a group of 5 when we finished it
I cant remember what we had, I know we had 2 eles... then we had either 2 warriors and 1 monk, or 2 monks and 1 warrior
took us a little bit of time to finish it

Edge Martinez
I'm hitting the same wall as everyone else. I simply can't find a group to do this mission. So I'm putting it out here... IGN is Edge Martinez and I'm a Mo/?. I have all kinds of PvE builds for the character, but am mostly suited for healing. If anyone needs a 4th (or 6th as the case may be), please feel free to message me in game whenever I'm on. At this point I'd drop anything short of a guild activity to do this quest.

I can't find a group for the Defend Kryta Province quest.. I've been stuck with it for 2 months, and it keeps getting harder to find people for the quest..

malus
man for defend north kyta i know tis sounds nooby for me to say for those ppl who know it but the best place to find a group is toa
Edge Martinez
It doesn't sound noobish at all. We ran with 8 from ToA to Bergen. From Bergen we went around the back way, stopping at Dwayna's statue out there to get 10% boost. Came around through the Ascalon Settlement and our minion dude used all the Krytan corpses along the way to raise an army. Then we went and hooked up with Greywind and the rest was easy.
This is after trying it from Kryta about 10 times. One day I couldn't find a group there so I went to do FoW and lo' and behold... a DNK group was forming in the ToA. It was easy getting in as a monk. I doubt my mesmer will have the same luck.
I don't buy into the whole 'no challenge' scenario. Everything in the game that isn't a challenge came about because of a challenge.

Heee heee you won't believe this, but after the Mad King came to Lion's Arch, North Kryta Province actually had Titans in it. Arenanet messed everything up there.

I have done the quests countless of times, I havnt had that much diffuculty finding good willing people.
As for finding random people,Id recomend advertising where the experienced players usually end up. IMHO Deldrimor Warcamp & Tempel of Ages (ToA). It is also easier to find ppl if Tempel of Ages doesnt have favor.
Just decide on the meeting place/starting point and have some members of the forming group go an advertise at grendich, yaks bend, ToA & Deldrimor war camp. Use whipser to send msg betwwen the advertisers and the base
I personally find Titan Source ridicusly easy with a bone minion necro and good monk in the group. hex removal skills is nice to have versus the last bosses, or energy may be short...

So....I beat Hell's Precipice with my Ranger and went back to Droknar's Forge to find that Glint had some extra quests for me: Last Day Dawns, Defend North Kryta, and Defend Denravi. I completed all 3 and went back to Glint to accept my exp only to find that she had another quest for me-worth 50k exp. So, I did that one (which I am exceedingly proud of since we had no monk: we had 2 W/Rs, a R/Me, and me, R/Mo) and went back to Glint to get my exp.
As soon as I get into Droknar's Forge, someone is advertising for a Defend Droknar's group...a quest I have never done and, for some odd reason, cannot seem to find. I asked around but several people told me it's the first one you get after "beating the game" and that they don't know how I did the others first. So...if anyone here knows what the heck is going on, please enlighten me.
To those of you who haven't completed these Titan Quests yet, PLEASE please plz feel free to msg me ingame and ask for help. I LOVED completing these-even DNKP. I would really like to do Defend Droks (even if I don't get the quest exp from Glint for it). If you do message me about these quests, please make sure to mention that you found my name on Guru
EDIT: Nevermind-I did do Defend Drokna's Forge. I did it RIGHT after I beat Hell's Precipice...one of my guildees reminded me of it this evening. Oh well...my offer still stands on those other ones though: I'd love to do any of the Titan Quests again. Just whisper me in-game.

I also be looking for teammates for this quest.
IGN is Kaz Reborn
She's a monk, can pretty much play any of the roles.
Hopefully the other teammates are patient enough to keep going even if we get wiped.
edit: nvm, finished it.
We were 3 monks, a warrior, elementalist and necro.
When got to the titan bosses, we cleared the area and then tried to pull them. We managed to take out the Shaman... somehow and then we got wiped, everyone ran different directions. One of the monks, who thought he knew everything and always telling us what to do and screaming, asked if we had Hex Removal and why the other monks (the prot and bonder) couldn't keep the bonds on us. Well we didn't have Hex Removal, but clearly he didn't either. Also, he didn't knew what Primal Echoes does to Blessed Signet. He raged quit with his friend (the necro) saying that it is not possible to win, though we managed to take out the Shaman.
So it was the warrior, elementalist and 2 monks (I am one of the monks). The warrior is your typical W/Mo, or more... he had mending, healing breeze and orison. I put Barrier and Bond on him and he was still too scared to take aggro or even pull (he'd tell the Elementalist who was already DP'ed to pull). When I eventually convinced the Warrior to aggro and tank (teaching him how to tank and the others to stay behind until the aggro is on the warrior), the elementalist decided to go in and tank too. Why? Here's a screenshot:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ury/smart1.jpg
I have no idea why it was so hard to teach that warrior how to truly tank. Everytime he would get hit a little (mind you he still has all those enchants and nothing there can strip), he would always run back to us, ruining the whole aggro process. After 5 or 6 trials, I told everyone to stay calm and he can take a lot of hits, wait until aggro is on him, telling the tank to don't move when they are going to him. We managed to take one mob out one by one, though it took forever because of the lack of damage output. Anyway, didn't waste too much of time since the quest was complete.

Congrats! I did the Titan Quests with my Ele, but still have my Necro and Warrior to do. I haven't tried with them yet because, like most of you here, finding a group was the hardest part. I've talked to people who flat out will not even try them because they've heard they were too hard and the reward in the end (just XP, but a butt-load of it) wasn't worth the effort. I disagree. I came away with some serious satisfaction after beating those quests. That was my reward.
