Downloading the Guild Wars client

Hi,
I just bought Guild Wars, i just want to know, roughly how long it takes to download all the informtaion before I can start playing?

Depends on your modem, i have cable which made it a breeze... accoarding to what i hear it doesnt take very long to download with 56k... but you know how much people will lie just to get people into a game they love. ^.^

Well I have 1MB dsl connection and its been taking quite a while so far (about 50 mins), is there anything I have to do before hand?

EDIT: Still wating after and hour and a half, still nothings happened, just says its downloading. Could it be because of my wireless router?
