GREEN ITEMS and what you think about them

For all you people in the trade forum saying "these arent worth any more than a collector item" or "Go farm the boss they drop like flies" I want to say here and now to shut up! I dont see you posting limitless auctions of green items for 7k each! Your trying to run the market and scare people and its stupid and immature and your obviously just jealous. I have gone into sorrows furnace many times in the last two days and not gottena green, so shut your pie holes!! They ARE worth 100k or more.

Would you pay 100k for an item you can get by killing some bosses for less than half an hour?

However, your lack of luck does not increase their worth.

Items will never be uber enough to worth 100k. GW will never have such items.

edit. 100k for an item? O M G - don't you have PvP hero creation device? 6000 faction and you got sup runes and weapon upgrades that is more than enough.

ill sell u 4 greens for 100k, the hammer, the prot icon, the bow and the random purple staff.....

In all honesty an item as crappy as the green items is not worth 1k in my mind. Its worth oh 125... equivalent of a collector item. Do you know why? Because these so called "godly" green weapons are unchangeable and have pretty sucky mods... some are infact green collectors items. I'd be happier to spend 125 on a colectors item and make it actually worth something to my build than to carry around stupid highly limited green letter garbage items.

Lets Review:
Can't be modified in anyway.
Can't be dyed... cmon I wanted it to be silver!
Exactly the same as your collectors items in Mineral Springs >< (and other locations)
I can make equally good ones in droks now and spend... 5k... hey thats what we say the green crap is worth!

I'm just a casual gamer, myself. Gotten two greens today. One was a really nice hammer.

The other was a Necro wand that was just... meh.

I like these greens...

But let's not be vulgar, eh Howard? I wouldn't try to rob people of 100k for an item that's worth a lot, but not more than anyone can afford easily.

ok a couple things.

1. people all day have been offering 50 ecto for green swords

2. there are often collector items better than gold ones, but people still payed wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more for gold items

3. i got 3 green items today and made over 100k selling them



so all you people whining about how much green items suck, go farm them yourself and quit crying because you wasted your ebay gold on stuff we are getting for free now

Everyone I see posting that green items aren't great (usually correctly comparing them to collector's items) do nothing that even resembles "whining". Seriously, people fling this term at anyone who says anything. Just stop it, you dolts bring down the level of this board.

I agree with Shadow deamon. Im saddened though cause i found a max 8 req 15>50 flamberge with medium to high range mods and I dont think its gonna sell for much but oh well its a game I normally only have about 2-6k anyways. And another thing everytime I see a post with the following words; noob, n00b, n00bz0r, n00bZoR. I am going to call whoever said it pathetic. Everyone is new at some point, some people don't play games 2-4 hours or for some of us 2-12 hours. It really is a semi-insult and if you use it its kinda sad. I think I could say 1337 to some of you and use it as an insult, there is a line of gaming that can be crossed. In this case it was Lag Hell. I dunno it just irks me the wrong way when people have to insult others. Period end of story, I find it rude and offensive. This is my rant so I'll keep going for a second here. I have only had the game for 2 months and I am a noob at heart. The noob-leet thing is like freshman-seniors in high school. You must feel like since at one point you probably got made fun of so now you take it out on people trying to learn how to play. I probably got called a noob 50-100 times in presearing because I asked simple questions. Such as hey is this black dye I just found worth anything. I heard so many nos I knew it was worth something. Made a comment and got called a noob for it. My first class was a necromancer, so I looked at my charecter sheet and went wow soul reaping sucks. Yet again I asked why they would put such a horrible attribute on such a limiting charecter sheet. noobed again, maybe I just have pent up noob rage. Who knows....sorry about all this but its like someone rubbing my bath towel all ove rtheir naked body ...eww gross.

I don't see the green items being that valuable. They're okay, but not godly by any means. An item being gold or green doesn't make it good.
