I cant say for sure as I dont know which ones you have, but when I did it the green arrow on the minimap pointed me to all of them. Also there were about 3 in the starting room I collected first.

I'm fairly sure that there IS enough Ore dotted throughout the area. (4 near the chappy who wants it, and i found 7 at the ice golem crushers and beyond down towards the big bridge)

i had to start again because i didn't know about the stuff near whatsisface.

I found 12 ores... so there's definitely enough. Just follow the arrows.

This is not really the Galen mission.
The Galen mission only needs you to visit some locations in SF. Doing the slave quests is optional.
