A question to the farmers who dont like the greens.

I'm not trying to start a flame war. So dont turn this into one.

My question is really simple.
Have you reduced your prices at all on Gold or Purple items to compete with the Green items, or are you simply still trying to sell things for the same high prices you did before the update?.

Also, a comment I have is that Farming isnt neccisarily dead. Farmers should open up Item Finding services. To be paid for the item and the work put into it. I know there are a few items I've not been able to find no matter which district I went into.

And I have to tell you that the Economy has been screwed up for a long time, because no one ever gets together and puts down base prices for the items. So no one can figure out what kind of price is really fair.

Between 3 districts yesterday, I saw a Hale +29 head for anywhere between 10 and 40K. Everyone is always confused about what something is actually worth, so why would anyone buy something Gold, when they can get a Green that they actually know the worth of.

Thats why they need a marketplace/auction area IN GAME! Something lots of us have been recommending since the BWE's. Then it would be a true market and the prices would level out to realistic levels. (not necessarily go down, but not be so variable.) I truely hope that this is something that comes before long. It would also cut down on the trade chat in towns. The way it is now, you post items on 2 or 3 sites and spam in game to sell stuff. If we had a market where we could leave stuff for sale on consignment in game we would actually have more time to play.

I can't understand why you would want to buy a gold item from a player who is obviously going to overcharge for it.You can certainly get through this game by simply buying the items off of Weapon or Collector NPC's..Weapon Mods on the other hand is a different matter.

Arcanis, the other affect to consider in addition to the green weapons is the increase in drops of rare's and golds and chests with key that guarantee uncommon or better.

That's true, but I really cant see the chests being worth that much actually. I've yet to get a weapon out of one that I'd actually use. And the majority of them have been purple (I've only recieved one Gold Anhk).

So maybe rare weapon drops are more prominent now, but just because its Purple or Gold doesnt instantly make it good.

Did'nt the Frog say something about Auction houses?
