where to find fur squares?

its used for every armor it seems but no one knows where to get it. Just wondering if anyone could tell me a few ways to get them

this is something i would like to know as well, do they require an expert salvage kit or something?

First, It is not required for every piece of armour, usually fur is only for Cold resistance armour.

I have not yet encountered any fur using my normal salvage kit, only Tanned Hide Squares.

If My divine inititive is correct, you must use a expert salvage kit instead of the original Kit.

Hmm....

Think.. What monsters have fur?

Minotaurs, maybe?

Basically, you can probably get fur from anything you can get tanned hide square from, just try using an expert salvage kit from time to time, maybe you will get lucky.

Fur Squares can be purchased from two NPC's. There is one outside of Nolani Academy in the field. There is one outside of Lion's Arch as well and they also have other rare crafting materials in the game that are hard to find. I believe 5 wood planks gets you one fur square.

Wood Planks can easily be obtained by using a normal/expert salvage kit on items such as Shields, and Bows.

Outside Nolani there's a giant temple with a million gargoyles >>
