which bow preparation is better?

Hey guys,which preparation is better? Inight arrows?...or kindle arrows? or poison?.... PLs i need help.. thx

It depends. Ignite explodes on impact, but kindle does more damage. Personally I use kindle because of the low energy cost.

Kindle for me, I would use Incendary but the time it lasts is to short.

ideally speaking the best prep is "melandrus arrows" which is an elite skill. but early on kindle works well, then "apply poison" poison arrow is only usefull in PvP I find. If you're fighting the undead or spirits Judge's Insight is the way to go, it whoops'em bad.

Poisoner's is good in some situations in that it does constant damage. It does not, however work on the undead or skeletal enemies. In those cases, kindle is the way to go.

I dont understand your question,all a poisoner's string does is lengthen poison duration by 33%,a poisoner's bow does pericing so yes they do stack if that's what your asking


Oh I wanted to add,sometimes I switch back to ele for my ranger's secondary,and a really fun combo to use while weilding a firey bow is
Conjure flame+ignite arrows+dual shot=fireworks!

If you're a Ranger/Monk use "judge's insight" it doubles your damage vs undead. Also alot of the undead are bowmen who have increased armor vs elemental dmg (fire from kindle arrows)

i love using poison arrow and ignite arrow so I poison them all then finish em off with ignite + dual shot, the thing is ingite effects all foes close to the target foe so I find it alot more efficient then kindle, many times using dual shot I do 150+ dmg to all foes in that area about 30 each, and when they are poisoned and I used dual shot I use penetrating shot and hunter shot to finish em of
most times when im a in pug I get the most drops so that certainly says something about my dmg dealing
oh and with my poison string I poison them for around 25secs so most times 1 shot on each foe is enuf to let them be poisoned during the whole time

using this strategy, i can solo many places

if u wanna use Judge's Insight... just get a Smiting Monk to cast it on u... much more effective...

i use Kindle Arrows for PvP and Ignite Arrows for PvE

.... if u wanna be doing poison dmg... don't go with Apply Poison... go with Poison Arrow {E} .. the fast recharge and fast attack speed of it u can poison there whole team in 8 sec... plus the poison duration lasts really long ... and with a poisoners string ur looking at about 30 sec of poison

Ignite is most useful when paired up with Dual Shot, on 2 or more foes bunched together. For single targets go with Kindle. If you're not primarily a damage-dealer, poison will help supplement your party's attacks while they do more of the damage.

None of the choices are bad. Unless of course you're fighting undead/golems/ghosts, in which case poison is a bad choice.
