On large maps its sometimes necessary to take a short break.
Please add scrolls that make you tp back to the latest visited town so you can:
-sell the stuff you found
-change skills
-answer the telephone
-more...
And than return to the same place in the map you just left and continue with whatever you were doing
Please add scrolls of Town Portal

You could change your setup all the time, which kills the purpose of the GW combat system.

Sounds like a good idea to me except for the selecting skills. Mabey you could pick up a new member when some jerk leaves during a mission.

Sounds nice, but it was just make the game too easy.

An interesting idea might be that lets say one of your teammates leaves....you could open a portal that would connect with the town you left from. From there, players who choose to can see your portal and highlight it..listing the players in your party. The person in the town can then choose if he would like to join you or not by stepping through..or not....
I'm sure there's a ton of problems that would arise and this most likely wont be implemented....its just an interesting idea. I'm not really promoting this either...I'd rather not have town portals...

Well, there are collectors just standing around in the middle of packs of fearsome monsters... why not have a travelling merchant's caravan in more areas? I remember finding one in one of the pre-searing zones.
I think that being able to access storage and change skills would make the game too easy (but how about a ghostly Xunlai in UW? lol), but it would be nice to be able to sell stuff mid-mission. If not travelling merchants, why not give collectors the ability to buy stuff from you?

What about the ablity to summon a magic "chest" that is your storage and unsummon it back. This will allow you to unload stuff but not zone out.

While you're at it, can you add Enigma for me, too? I need my Ele to teleport around and use AoE spells on anything in sight.
Thanks!
Thanks!

As for the OP, though it would be nice, there's just too much prohibiting a decent fight behind what you suggest. First of all is you're selling stuff. Not only do you get 45 slots to put items in, but you can take a salvaging kit (and/or) identification kit to reduce how many items you have in your inventory. Plus, stuff doesn't sell for much, unless you're in the farther places. And if you're in the farther places you have more people in your party and so you get fewer items(neat how that works, kinda like catch-22 all over again O_o). Next is your changing skills stuff. If people could do that, then they would exploit it like none other. They would perhaps fight through a place that inflicts a lot of psn with some spells to help reduce its effects and then go to town, switch skills and harrass mesmers or some such. Finally, is answering the phone. If you're in the middle of a fight and your phone rings, you're either alone in a weak mob, meaning you can easily reach it, or your team mates can handle a few moments without your aid. Also, if you get a phone call and your teammates aren't yet in a battle, saying something as little as "brb phone" says more than just 4 words to your teammates.
Also, I feel like TPs wouldn't work with the way that GW is made. If all the maps were free roaming with instancing and such, then mayhap it could happen. But as it is I think it would be too difficult to program in Teleports.
