Has anyone beaten it with a solid strategy that won't fail?

The Fire Djinn is in Sorrow's Furnace at lvl 28 I believe. It looks like a big fairy that flies around and burns you while stealing your life. It looks so weak, but it's so powerful.

I've never had any problems with it. I went with hench a couple times and he fell pretty fast.

Best strategy I've found is to get everyone to surround it. This way it deals 400 / 8 (50) damage to everyone instead of 400 to a single or 200 to two targets. Any monk can easily heal 8 people only taking 50 damage at a time. Also, since the damage is being spread, the Djinn also heals for less so it takes less time to kill. Other useful things include anything to raise evade, and knockdown. The attack it uses is classed as a melee attack, so it can still miss (blindness works really well if you can keep it on them). Knockdown from meteor shower (which is still useful even without winter) helps keep a djinn down long enough to take it out without any problems, and several showers make it just easy. Just note that it's a melee attack, and will use flourish to recharge it instantly, if it even has much of a recharge time.

I bring my buddies the Ice Golems with me, they make short order of anything in the Furnace. It's a fun army to bring along down there.

Thank you very much JCZECH.

To the both of you before him: STFU. I didn't ask for your, "Oh I'm soooo much better than you. You can't even kill it with henchies and I did. Nah, nah, nah... " stuck up responses.

Take a look at the title. It's asking a QUESTION and what do you do? You just put me down. WTF?!

C'mon everyone, I don't ask a question just for the heck of it! I ask it to get an ANSWER which JCZECH nicely gave me suggestions. Why do you have to be a PRICK about a simple question like that? That's so... noobish!

another good tip is to not use any enchantments whatsoever. if you read the tooltip of the skill carefully, it strips enchants to heal itself and do damage to you. so, don't give it the chance to do that.

Here is a simple 30 second win method.

Just aggro him and pull him back to the furnace gaurds then jump him. He will die in like 20 seconds with very little loss in health by your team.

That's exactly what I did too, just drag him back to the summit boss and his cronies just up the hill and they will attack him with you

We have a winner. This is by far the easiest way, I was not even paying attention,a nd my henchies(sorry), and the npc's whooped him. By the way, close up, and the Djinn is totally cool looking.

The Ice Golems do him in no problem. I have also ran through one of the gear doors and closed it. You can shoot him thru it and he cant touch you.
