Worth having spells/signets with cast time more than 1 sec on warriors?

From the way I see it, warriors need to be constantly on the move slashing their opponents. I feel quite awkward whenever my warrior need to stop in his tracks to cast skills that have more than 1 sec cast time like judges' insight or heal sig or rend enchant and etc. In this duration, the opponent usually miles away or healed back significantly =/

Anyone has a different view on this matter?

You are probably asking because of purge signet. I think 3 sec can be a small price to pay when you get hexed like crazy. But in most situations it doesn't make much sense.

when i play warrior, the only skill that isnt 'instant' is the res sig. i think having a warrior sit around casting stuff is retarded.

Think about it this way, how many attacks could you get away in that 2 second cast time. Also, is it worth sacrificing 2 seconds to have +20% armour penetration AND deal holy damage? Is it worth it to heal I'm assuming 100+ health, or to remove Mark of Protection that is making all of your attacks heal instead of hurt?

It depends on the situation as well. You have to use your best judgement at times. A near death enemy won't need the extra damage from Judge's Insight. If your health bar is higher than the enemies, you probably don't need to heal.
