How do I know if i completed a mission?

hey, i've been doing many missions in fort ranik, the great wall and ruins of surmia. i heard somewhere that you can do the missions twice and still get 1000 exp? is this true? i did the great wall mission and didnt get 1000 exp on my second try.

also, when there are two swords with the shield, does that mean the mission is complete?

A shield with one sword means the mission is complete. A shield with two swords means the mission and the sub-quest in it is complete.

My experiance in doing the same missions that I have previously accomplished did not yield the 1000xp. So I am assuming that you do not get that 1000xp again once you have accomplished that mission. Side quests within the mission still give you xp however.
