How I cleared 99% of sorrows and soloed brohm:
Ollj
I just played with the best pug ever so i gotta tell you this story!
"brohm" btw is the healing boss FAR south in the forest of sorrows furnace.
I just all chatted "Mo Me N E looking for R W Mo E (or N/E or Me/E) to clear all of sorrows furnace (~2 hour trip)" on Monday 12 sep 11:00 European time in american district 1.
Took 10 minutes to get players together with a lot of zoning, we never met before, no TS, i didnt even ask for others skills.
Only one thing was clear, we had the same goal, to kill all enemies in sorrows furnace without picking a quest.
It only took us 1 minute to figutre out were a good group:
Mo: 15 prot 11 divine 11 smite with mark of protection and Divine Spirit.
WN: With a sword and a shield, cant tell his skills, only remember galrath slash.
MeMo: 16 Domination, propably 8 inspiration, ether feast chaos storm, shatter enchantment ... and a few monk skills (ressed)
NMo: 16 death, propably 12 healing and 5 blood, bone minions, bone fiends, veratas sacrifice blood of the master dark bond heal area...
NE: Blood necro, i wanted him to use some ele skills but i dont know any skils from him but Blood is power and strip enchantment.
EMo: classic fire ele with a res skill.
MoR: 15 Healing and 4 protection with guardian, thats all I know from him.
RMo: I know he had Troll unguent and bow attack skills that focus on dealing damage when the target casts spells or attacks... no spirit, "special arrows" or traps at all.
We simply owned till the entrance of sowwors furnace so we decided to enter it with +6 morale boost and make an army of 10 fiends and 20 minions all the time.
We went straight south than southwest trough the stomping path, than north back to the entrance (thats 1/3 to 1/4 of all sorrows furnace) within 30 minutes from start without anyone diing and with our healing monk dropping after 20 minutes.
Than it became a bit strange, for the protection smiting monk because he was the only primary monk of 7, bip and secondary healing skills helped here a lot so he just smited and protected all the time and actually felt like 10 monks instead of 1.
Than we went west and south across the bridge (kilroys path), below the bridge and killed all enemies in that dead end within another 50 minutes (thats another 1/3 to 1/4 of all of it), barely anyone ever died.
Then we did the mission till the reward at Tharn Stonerift because we hardly found any red dots anymore.
So we did the other mission from Marshal wittman, collecting al lthat items all over the place.
Than it became even more strange because the blood necromancer dropped, so no more blood is power in the team.
However that didnt stop us from marching trough the jungle wich was like that:
The ranger had only 85 hp left (took much physical damage all the time), loved troll unguent and mark of protection or protective spirit on him. It happened really often that he simply died by shatter enchantment.
The Warrior just got smited and surrounded by friendly minions so he could not move at all..
The necromancer had the habbit to summon 20 minions and than die from time to time making them an neutral and smited from the warrior and the monk while we were also surrounded by 5-20 other enemies.
Yes, it became tough for the first time but we made it trough the mission (half the forest), even with everyone dropping one after another but the prot monk, the sword warrior and the ranger.
2 hours passed till we started.
We made it trough the whole forest till brohm stoneheart, the monk FAR back in sorrows furnache that has a healing staff with +60 health, than the warrior dropped and it was only the prot monk with 15 dp and the ranger with 60 dp to kill brohm and the 10 foe group around him.
Ranger"damn, should we try, should i pull?"
Monk"We would be damn stupid if we would not, this gotta be the best pul lin your life"
We managed to pull the boss out but he has a personal guard of 2 warriors always close to him. We tried it for 30 minutes and the ranger sayd goodbye.
So the prot monk was all alone, hey THATS ME!, triing to kill brohm.
Somehow i managed to pul lhim with his 2 warrior guard and even better, somehow brohm all of a sudden followed me all alone, even if he was far out of my aggro circle, what an opportunity.
But i just couldnt kill him, not even with 16 smiting so brohm and me started having a private party in sorrows furnace, he followed me and we barely damaged each other.
I could not kill him with the scroll trader nearby, too, so there was only one chance, smashing him:
He didnt drop anything, not even glittering dust, and i only got gargash's recurve bow from a trip that killed all bosses of sorrows furnace!
To honour the names of the fallen ones I post this Screenshot and a "how to kill all boses in sowwors furnace" tutorial on the guildwiki:

congratz.
However I wouldn't call a pug where everyone leaves at the end a great pug.
but that is just me.
cheers,
Makk.

Sounds like a really fun adventure you had going. I love it when i find a group that plays for hours and you all get a chance to learn each others builds and play-styles.
It makes you want to add them all to your friends list.
It's a shame that you only got one green from all that killing. Sometimes drops are pitiful.
I solo'd Wroth Yakslapper yesterday with my W/Mo. It was weird, he never even casted an orison or anything at all. Gave me the Yakslapper for my little effort involved...which was pleasant.

Warskull
Enemies killed by other enemies or environmental hazards do not give the player drops. That is why he gave you nothing.

You are a true survivor. Wish I can farm all of SF and kill every enemy until nothing's left, but its hard to find a team that would be dedicated to that.
BezoomnyDroog
Last night in SF we did Galens quest. Had 5 people out of the 8 in the party drop before we finished the first second quest (the cog one). All that was left was me (N/E Full Blood and Fire), a W/Mo and an E/Mo (water magic LOL). We finished every one of the 5 quests with just us 3, no healers or anyhting, EXCEPT the very last one, with the Djinn.
But we nearly beat it! So damn close it made us cry, since we obviously couldnt kill it by our own attacks, we tried aggroing it towards all of our Summit Allies. The darn thing has a bad aggro path and gets stuck on walls ALL the time! arg but anyway, we pulled it back into 3 giants (the ones that throw stones) and they were kicking the crap out of th Djinn, they had him down to 1/4 health because of all their knockdowns, etc but then somehow the Djinn just killed them all and moved on. We tried crushing the Djinn but he would never follow us that far so after 3+ hours, we gave up and went to bed.

Yesterday, me and group of friend (3 warrior, 2 monk, 1 Ranger, 1 Elementlist) all level 20 went into sorrow furnace and i must say, it was the funniest time i have fighting through wave of enemies. We actually kill all 6 bosses within sorrow furnace and that most of us (3 in fact) got green item. We didn't do any quests while in furnace but we did pick up bunch of quest items which should come in handy when I'm doing those quests. Too bad our group didn't have time to get near that golem (or robot as some people call him) but i'll try and do that eventually
