I've been off Guild Wars for 3 months or so. Has there been any drastic changes scince I left? I was about to do the 3 trials for ascension in the desert when I lost interest. However I am happy to say I would like to finish off my character and try a new one too.
On a related note, there is no-one left in my guild but me! Are there any decent sized guilds recruiting?

All the major changes are Sorrow's Furance and the system wide changes in that update. Since your about to ascend, nothing "new" that was not there before that you had access to. For me, I got post game quests and Sorrow's Furance which you will have access to soon.

Yeah! That's rock.
And you need keys to open chests. Keys are not cheap and sometimes you will get craps from chests which can be sold lower than the key price.
