Why when low ranking guilds go into GVG they always fight high ranking guilds. Me and my guild The Dark Lords of Tyria were rank 998 and went to GVG and got killed by a rank 45 guild.

The system will try to match you with a team that's around the same ranking as you but if there are no teams available then you will just fight whoever is waiting. This can sometimes be a highly ranked team. Your best bet is to play when more people are on.

lol, my guild has only just started GvG'ing and after a few matches we were at about 2100 on the ladder. The next match we fought was against "We Love Guild" the number 31 (at the time) Korean guild!

I don't think I need to go in to detail about how that went!!

At least our rank barely moved as a result!
