Green items

I came across a guy selling a green item... He told me that green items are more rare than gold... I wanted to ask you if that is true, are they better than gold items and where do you usually find them...

They are part of the live update. They are not that rare, every boss in the new area has one. You just have to be high enough level to get there. They are essentially as valuable as collector items. But this is discussed to death elsewhere in these forums. So dig a bit to find more info if you need it.
