I have a question about staff/foci/wand modifiers like "+1-5 energy while: enchanted / health is above 50% / health is below 50% / hexed"
If I had the "+5 energy while hexed" modifier, and I was at 30/50 energy and then got hexed, would my energy be 30/55, or 35/55?
In most other games the answer would be 30/55, but I've noticed Guild Wars is a little weird about the way it treats changes to maximum health/energy, in that they often affect your current health/energy also (e.g. the deep wound effect).

Thanks for the info.
So then, if I was at 10 energy and someone hexed me, I would have 15 energy. Then I could run up into a crowd of baddies and Shatter Hex on myself, and I would be at 0 energy (rather than -5; I'm assuming the game doesn't support "hidden energy debt")? That would be pretty nifty.

there is a hidden energy debt in this game
*example: I sometimes run a trapper ranger and while i'm setting traps i use a staff for the extra 10 energy, when i'm done trapping i switch back to my bow and I lose the 10 energy granted by the staff, if my energy is below 10 when i lose the energy from the staff bonus my energy will sit at 0 for a few seconds while it regens the negative energy.
