Best place to get armour?

Hi
I've just ascended and arrived in droknar's forge and I was wondering where the best place to buy armour is? I could buy a new set here but that would blow all my gold, crafting items, and some more after that.

Is it worth doing this or is there a place that does better armour just around the corner?

Its The Best armor rating/level u can get

if u want and got enough money for the 2nd less xpensive armor ingame
buy 15k Granite Citadel / Marhans Grotto Armor

if u got over 2Million buy Fissure of Woe armor

btw they only have diffrent looks but they still all have same armor lvl/ratings

so this 2 million armour... it has the same armour level as the stuff i can get in droknars?

yes it does. The 1.5K armor, the 15K armor and the 2 million armor all have the exact same stats and AL.

People buy the 15K Ghrotto/Citadel armor's as well as FoW armor for the way they look and for the prestige of having those armor's. But it's mainly about the looks - if you have te money, why not spend it on armor which looks nicer than the dull & boring 1.5K armor? *shrugs*

instead of the normal ones u stand out of the rest

Krusader, actually u couldnt be more right, its the EXACT Same armor and special bonuses(eg. Pyromancer +15 vs fire), but its solely cosmetically profficient, also it gives u a sense of pride and even i would call u "ub3r1337hax0r" if ur in the mesmer set :-p just because thats the most unused

Overall - same armor better looks(Meeh not all, IMO Platemail>15k warr)

Though I'll do it in the morning when hopefully the price of steel ingots has dropped a bit
