Something I would like to see for a future update is a change of the way the Ale effects your character. Instead of the screen going blurry I would like to see my character stagering around and falling over with a random *hic. Imagine Lions Arch full of staggering drunks. PLEEEEEEEEASE

Depends whether you are in US or Europe. Being English and just come back from USA, in US it does nothing at all as is just like drinking water.

In Europe if you have more than 5 or 6 you need help talking, walking and definitely help!!!

To answer the OP's question: Dwarven Ale makes your screen go blurry and warped if you drink a few (3 to 10 depending on how fuzzy you want it).

To the rest of you, although I prefer some substance to my drink, american beer does have it's uses. Water replacement is only one of them.

Oh, you fellows have missed some good beers, then. I'm not talking about the BudMillerCoors swill. Everyone who follows beer knows that craft brewing is alive, well, and becoming quite popular in the U.S. Give it a try sometime.
