I'm enjoying my game so far, but the thing that bugs me the most are the items. They seem to be very bland, they don't really stand out, and are all very similar. You would be surprized how many quest rewards reward you with different items that do the same thing (like +3 energy items). Weapons are all the same except for the numbers of dmg, you don't even see any stats for most of them. Even the best items in the game only have one bonus (say, +25 to electricity resistance) and that's it.
Anyone else feel this way?
Anyone find items boring?

19-35 cold damage
I also have a Giant slaying hammer of defense
16-25 damage
increases defense when over 50% health
increases duration of weakness
+5 armor
There are some nice weapons out there you just have to find them. What I would like to see is some armor drop....

There's plenty of variety with items. A lot of the better stuff are now reserved for the higher lvl end of the game. And quest items are nothing great. They are a nice bonus, though.
And what kind of stats do you want? They can already add dmg type, dmg vs certain enemies, energy, health, armor, bonus damage percent, etc. There isn't stats like Dexterity, Stamina, etc in this game so you won't get as much variety as in other games, but the item modifiers are random so you will have a wide variety of what kind of items you can get just from one mission.

Again, the point of "This has only been out for a few days. You EXPECT to be finding the goodies already???" Comes up. There are good items in GW, but you have to work for them. Frankly, I like it like that.

what I would like would be some graphics to go with weapons. It would be nice if my icy hammer had a glowing effect on it similar to how ruriks sword looked. Maybe have icicles fall off as I swing or a icy mist follow its wake.

An icy mist following the weapon would be cool, though. But who knows. Maybe it is already in the game and the item just hasn't been found yet. Be patient. You will get "cooler" stuff soon enough

I just feel there are so many worthless items that don't do anything that are everywhere. It feels like theres no point to 80% of the items. The "better" weapons are the ones that instead of doing 10-12 dmg do 11-13 dmg. What's the fun in that? Items feel worthless and unimaginative. Everything else is crafting components. Know what I mean?
