Our guild leader who hasnt been active for a while some how got demoted to officer and i was auto designated the guild leader...

me and another offcier are 100% sure we havnt selected anything or done anything... so does the guild leader get auto demoted if inactive for a long time?

The same thing happened to the guild i was in.
Our guildleader had been inactive for longer than a month or so and one of the officers got "promoted"
Its something that happens automatic i guess.

If you hover your cursor over your name, you will see "Designated guild leader by..." - that should tell you.

I don't think this happens automatically he probably promoted someone as leader.

Yes. It happens automatically. I was promoted over my Daughter when she was off more then a month.

in my guild, the one chosen was the oldest officer

Didn't realize it was automatic, but no problem 'cause i'm on just about every day.

I was an officer in the guild and one day signed on ..... couldn't find my name .... thought I was demoted but couldn't find my name in members either. Than I looked up top and realized I was leader. Surprise! The former leader decided to leave guild an promoted me to leader. Nice.
