How to show FPS in-game?

Did a search for this, but the search engine won't accept words of less than four letters and I couldn't think of any other strings (e.g. 'FPS')...

Does anyone know the slash-command to trigger real-time polling of FPS?

Yes, but for whatever reason, the FRAPS counter disappears after a minute in the game and only returns randomly thereafter for a few seconds...never seen this behavior from FRAPS before, and have no idea how to solve it, so thus I'm asking for a slash-command. Anybody? There has to be a goddamn developer command to monitor FPS, for ****sake...
