Looking for a Guild

Hello all, I'm looking for a Guild who PvP's in Tombs alot. It's become an aching interest of mine to make it to HoH, maybe get a couple Sigils or a Crystaline sword.... It's a part of GW I haven't done yet, and am looking for a Guild who frequents tombs.

I recently unlocked skills enough to make a PvP Me/N "Instagib" build (Using Fragility and Virulence primarily, among other skills). "Thingol the Malign"

I also have a Healing Monk, "ZoSo the Monk"

and a Warrior Tank "Tydus Maximus"

it would help if you posted your rank. and if its not that high its fine because im sure there are still guilds that will recruit you. from the way it sounds, my guild wouldnt recruit you (only recruiting 6+ right now if they pass a tryout), but i would be glad to help you out if you have any questions about builds or pvp in general.

Not related to the topic, but to the above poster: How exactly is one supposed to get to rank 6 if they can't get into a guild to go Tombing? And don't say "join PUG's"... I've spent HOURS looking for PUG's in the Tombs, and I have TS/Vent and the whole 9-yards.

First of all, what section should I have put this in?

Secondly, what in the world is a PUG?

Third, my Rank is zero, and I am looking for a guild who will take me in and help me with PvP. I've got strong PvP characters already, just need to practice.

to be completely honest that is how i got up in rank. i pugged my way up to rank 3, then joined Prav, which had lower ranked players at the time. we got better, created some builds, and started winning hoh multiple times a day. until i hit rank 6 i could only play with the guild because no good teams wanted such a low rank, but once i got 6, i could once again pug with the better players.

some alternative tips that i could give you would be to join a lower ranked guild, as there are a lot of guilds that will accept players that dont have high rank, but who simply want to play. you will have groups going often, and will win a decent amount of games. the guild will get better the more they play together and you might get something started. if not, at least you get fame. another tip would be to just play cheap builds. im not proud of saying this, but if you cant get a group together, may as well just run in an 8 W/R IWAY build. its a great way to wipe the floor with some newbs and grab cheap fame. will it get you far? no, but its cheap fame. and the final way is by far the best. get to play a lot of different professions! then instead of spamming that you are a tainted necro lfg, you can have many things to play, and most every group that needs people will be looking for you, and you will find groups much much easier. with the new permanent faction rewards, unlocking skills, upgrades, and runes is beyond easy so you should be able to play new classes pretty quickly and pretty well as you practice more with them.

i aint't ever leaving the guild i'm in we do gvg every night + we got 65+ members and usualy in the day +20 online not to mention i'm a officer
