Ok, here is another one of my lame-ass idea, some of you would say, but check it out.

Note: If Guild Wars ever thought of adding "eastern" world to this game, this type of class can be more "fitting" with the story line or plot.

This character is like a samurai-type guy who uses 3 kinds of swords, (like a warrior uses sword, axe, or an hammer) and skills base on adrenaline.

Class Name: Untitle (help me think of a name)
Armor type: light

Attribute:

Codes of Honor (Primary Only) -Codes of Honor are the followings of a (the class name). The more rank is apply, the stronger it is.
Wakizashi- skills using a Wakizashi sword, a short sword for murders and sacrifices.
Kodachi- skills using a Kodachi sword, a mid-size sword perfect for defensive moves.
Katana- skills using a Katana sword, a long sword for close combat.

The Major differences of this class and a warrior is that, a warrior can tank and kill kill kill. This class have light armor and deals, somewhat, damage weaker than the warrior, but have more attacking speed than the warrior. (Example: Warrior attacks once in one movement, does 25 damage, while this class attacks twice in one movement, does 13-18 damage each times.

Some simple skills...
For Codes of Honor
Way of the sword
For the next 20-45 seconds, any (class name)'s sword skills damage increase by 10%-20%

For Wakizashi
Seppuku
Sacrifices 100% of your health so all party members recover 100% of Health and Energy.

For Kodachi
Hasso
For the next 10-30 seconds, any hex cast on you are reflected back to the caster. If a hex is cast on you, Hasso ends.

For Katana
Jodan
This attack strikes +2-16 damage if it hits.

Ki slash
If this attack hits, then the target is weaken for 5-15 seconds.

What do yo guys think?

It boils down to a modified Flurry.

You're right, now that I thought of it, how about just make his sword attacks normal like all the other classes besides the warrior, but attack faster?
And if this is a good thing, we need a class name for this guy

A suggestion: If its going to be anything like anything that already exists, no one will like it. If it has the same idea behind it, you have to make it radically different. Say this class could instead be a thief/ninja.
It could have armor comperable to something around casters, maybe a little more. Its attack would be mediocre at best, but its attack speed would be at base 33% faster than a sword with their weapon, say a dagger or something. They would have additional skills to do all that normal stuff, like interupt etc, but they would specialize more in hit evasion and gambling with skills to succede.
The 4 stats could be:
Agility, increases attack speed by 1% for every point in it
stealth, evasion skills and throw dirt type skills
dagger mastery, just like marksmenship or axe mastery etc
potions, they could have some sort of potion mixing ability or something to set them apart from the warriors, i dunno

their skills could be something like:
Risky strike; If this attack hits you do +2-18 damage, if it misses you fall over, 3mp, 6 second recharge
dangerous parry; for the next 5-20 seconds you have 75% chance to evade enemy attacks, but those that hit strike for 2x as much damage.

etc. gotta make it interesting!

It's already been known that one of the Guild Hall islands(warrior methinks?) has an asian-esque style to it with buildings as you would see in places like china, korea, and japn. And this is owned by the people to the south(if I remember correctly) of the Crystal Desert. And it's also known that they plan to release more chapters. GW as is, is not a complete game. The ending is a cliff hanger at best, which should mean to everyone that is planned out to have more. And if they're as far through Chapter 2 as they say they are, then adding this to their suggestions really wouldn't help them As is, I think what they have scheduled for Chapter 2 is what's going to be in Chapter 2. They might add small features along the way, but they pretty much have skills, races, classes, etc planned out for the new areas that they're inroducing.

I'm not saying that your profession suggestion is bad, it's just that it's getting old to keep seeing similar things pop up. And people seem hell bent on asian-type builds for some reason beyond me. So it gets old seeing 28371.4234 variations of ninja and samurai come up.

The reason, to me at least, that people are bent on asian-type builds it's because major MMORPG in America are Medieval-type builds. Like WoW, EQ, FFXI, etc. etc. have you ever see a commerical game that's good but have ANY asian-type build?

Hmm, IMHO for any clas/profession idea to succeed it needs to cover an archetype of fantasy (this game is a fantasy game, and no that does not exclude guns, only western fantasy does that) that isn't already covered by one of the existing professions already out there... which is hard to do as is

Archetypes are for instance:
(and i'm simply copying from DnD...)
The Wizard = elementalist/mesmer/necro professions to a certain extent (DnD wizards can specialise in many schools of magic, illusion fits the mesmer, while the necromancy...well duh...
The Barbarian (the no-magic brute force type...) = Warriors don't quite fill the archetype
The Bard = nothing here, in DnD these combine are rogue-ish sorcerer types
The Fighter = Warrior, almost exact copies of each other...
The Rogue = not a thing like it here... many rogue abilities are implied in the combat system ( auto-critting someone who's running away for example )
The Cleric = Monk, true carbon copy...
The Ranger = Ranger, even the name is the same...
The Paladin = only a W/Mo applies, like the pre-made pvp template
The Druid = nothing really applies here... maybe Ele/Ra? but it's a stretch.. Mo/Ra?

That's how it is for roleplaying-wise IMHO... as for pvp, since GW tactics are limited to resource battles instead of positional tactics, it's hard to come up with a combat role that isn't already covered...
