Finding the Team Arena

Hi,

I have played only PvE up until now...friends of mine have a place on their map called "Team Arena", but I don't have it.

Can anyone tell me what I have to do to 'unlock' this location?

A lot of Major cities in the game have arenas.. to make things easier they made a lot of the cities that have "Team Arena's" go to one designated place. and the same thing for competition arena's.. i think the Team Arena can be found in Lion's Arc. it will take you to an island i believe.

The main arenas are:

Ascalon Arenas: From Ascalon
Shiverpeak Arena: From Yak's bend
Competition(Random) Arenas: From Lion's Arch (The boat)
Tomb of the Primeval kings: From Dragon's Lair
and finally the Team Arenas: From Droknar's

The one in Lions Arc (unless there is more than one) is a Competition Arena.

Below is a picture of the island it takes you too (red/purple dot on left). On the far right is the 'Team Arena' but I am not sure how I unlocked it.

You dont have to "unlock" team arena, its in Droknars Forge, where you have to talk to an Arena Guard in the city...as far as i know

You must first enter the "Competition Arena" in Lions Arch and win 10 games in a row with your randomly assigned team. After the 10th win you are automaticly moved to the arena in Droknar's and fight against teams that were not randomly assigned

I guess that's one way to do it. I just spoke with the Arena guard in Droknar's Forge to get to the Team Arenas.

You actually do not have to win the ten games in a row yourself. What I mean by the statement is if you get teamed up with a group in the competition/ random arena (lions arch) that has already won 5 in a row (and maybe had one of their members leave or get kicked off line), and then with you on their team continue to win 5 more, your whole group will be transported to the team arena (outside droknars).
