About a day after SF came out, a friend and I made an informal contest to see who'd get all the greens first. I'm curious, who else is doing this? How far is everyone else? Are you getting them yourself or just buying them? I have 12 unique greens so far.

Why should I keep an item that isn't worth anything when I can sell if for 500K? No thanks.

How much are the green's worth? I just sold Thorgall's shield (req9 Strength) -2 received dmg and quick recovery from weakness for 10k. Is 10k a fair price for the shield?

I'm collecting them as well, but it's not really a contest.. I just hit 9, been doing runs with 1-2 guildies and hench. (1-3 guildies, 1-2 hench) The bosses IN SF have been dropping crap, and that's in 3-5 person parties, the ones outside are dropping more, though.

ive gotten several dozen, sold most of em though, should make up for the crazy amount i spent getting most of the necro ones(i bought the shadestone for 20k, even though i knew it dropped right out in grenths footprint, just got in a frenzy to have it, of course i have had two drop for me since then)

I've been in there since 11:30 pm sept 7. Workin' those bosses. Killin' 'em left and right... every day at least 3 hours a day, and I have gotten..... 4... measely... green... items...

I don't know what some of you guys are doing to get those drops, but it seems whatever it is, I ain't doin' it right. I tried a team of 8, 5, 4, 6, 7... etc... They just don't like dropping for me I guess.

i've made 22 trips into grenths footprint, and half them pretty deep into sorrows, and i've got not a single green item yet. most were with 6 man groups, a fair number with even 3 man parties.

wonder how long my record can last...

I got my first green one today (Thornbeard's Horned bow) after some time spent. Right now I'm trying farming just the outside of SF, since there are many bosses there too and the enemies are easier. Got this one outside too.

Anyhow, I sell greens also if they get a very good price, but I just got my Razorstone, and I won't part unless I get a good deal too. Now I have both axes! And I keep getting Yakslapper...

I got some and sold them and I bought some, there are still a couple more that I still want.
But this weekend was crap, I made many trips with different party numbers and never got one. I killed that yakslapper like 10 times with no luck.
I even got to the guy that drops the tanzit defender and never got it.
This sucks

This sucks Greens drop like Golds you can't expect it to drop even after killing the guy 10 times! you'd have to be either really lucky or kill him 30 time at least to have a *chance* of getting him to drop the green. But by then yoyu'd have no drops with the anti-bot upgrade Anet has put into effect.

Well i only picked up the Necro Green sold it and not nothing and ive been in GF so many times farming for what ever drops - only get now is Gold, and Stupid armor drops a few are purple or gold or even white that only come out to nothing i can use. i have ran with a guildie or even henchies and still nothing at all after a while it gets very boring just trying to farm GF. I did go to SF and not much just gold there also.
Question though is there a Collector that has Greens - was told by a Lvl 20 Necro that told me they found a collector with Green items not sure it was rather intresting if i could find that person and get my Necro a Better wand or staff..

If there was a NPC collector with Green items I would have been all over them. But there isn't an NPC collector. Again, you should probably refer to the GuildWiki Greens list if you're wondering about green Necro weapons.

Also, as a side note not very many good greens drop in GF probably as a result of many people farming it the first days it came out. Repeatedly farming an area without clearing all the enemies also nerfs drops. SF is better, usually because I clear most of the enemies anyway, and there's more of a variety of bosses (18 in SF compared to 6 for GF) so that should provide you with more options for your Necro, depending on what skill line you use.

made a killing farmin greens.. I should post the screens- even had tanzit drop 2 at once- think anet's made it harder to farm nowdays though.. getting more scrolls than greens lately soloin so went back to uw.. the only greens worth buying are the bosses who don't spawn outside the quests- like malions stuff.. you have to be in groups to get those- the willcrusher is another one that's hard to get.. rago spawns sometimes but rare to see him outside the orozar quest

greens bought were malion's shield, willcrusher, malion's malign hammer, yakslapper (can't yet solo this guy- even with disrupt he still heals)

had a staff drop in sf with rago's flame staff skin.. dyed it and customized it with +5 insightful head and 20% enchantment wrap- looks tight (can't dye greens).. the eye's on the serpent are green =]

Fleshweaver seems to be 20-25k judging from current War Camp spam.

The "twin serpent" Jeweled Staff skin has been around, although a bit rare to find.

Willcrusher for me wasn't that hard, I've had 3 drop for me so far (although if half the team hadn't of dropped, we might've been able to last long enough for me to pick up the second one that dropped...)

Oh, and if and anyone wants to keep track, I've found around 25 unique greens by myself so far. A few more I've bought but I don't count those. I've been a bit busy with school as of late, plus the reduced drops aren't helping much either.

I sell all my greens - that I or close friends don't want - as prices will bottom out eventually. I have bought two so far, but have never paid more than 35k for any. After all, there's a good chance that you can come across the more valuable ones yourself during Sorrow's Furnace missions.

Currently all my three characters have green weapons, so I'm happy

O ya one more thing is it just me or does it seem the drops are rigged so u don't get the item U want but the item OTHERS want
