Allright, I have the Guide (yes I know) and I have read about helping Gwen out, well I have also heard rumors that if you help her out pre-searing thaen she gives/helps you beat Glint....

Well I dont know what to believe, anyone out there have any info on this subject?

No this is not true. Beating glint is the bonus in the dragon's lair mission. The only people fighting glint (if someone in your party picks up an egg) will be the members of your party.
unfourtunatly aside from a torn cape a broken flute and a ghost in uw that mentions a daughter gwen there is so far no sign of gwen post searing
