Even though I've been playing a Ranger class for quite a bit, I never used this skill. So excuse me when I ask...

Does Ignite Arrow retrigger the fire damage if others are within the explosion range? What I mean is, since the arrows explode, if there are others within the range of the explosion, they explode too. Does that explosion retrigger the fire damage?

Question may be a bit hard to understand, but do try.

Yes, and it can't be blocked or evaded so it cuts through most stances.

Ignite Arrows + Duel Shot with a good bow does some SERIOUS damage. By far my fav combo for my Ranger.

So let me get this right.

Let's say I have 3 people standing in a bunch. I hit person A, and he explodes, therefore, the person B and person C would explode too. In that case, person A would then be affected by the explosions of person B and C?

So in that case, the person A would experience the Ignite Arrows damage 3 times?

No.
If the arrow hit the person A, it will explode on the person A's body and the blast will deal fire damage to person B and C who are standing next to A and A himself. There is only one explosion at a time and the blast will deal damage to surrounding foes. If you dual shot when ignite is on, there will be two explosions.

Choking Gas works this way too.

Oh, and let me add a question. Does Dual Shot reduce 25% to the bonus fire damage as well? Or do the two fire explosions each get the full 100%?

The fire explosions do full damage since Dual Shot only affects the damage of the arrows (and the fire dmg from IA is separate from the arrow).

Very nice combo, and if you add a Fiery Bow String and Conjure Flame to your bag of tricks, you can have one more number popping up per arrow !! ::evil grin::

Or substitute Fiery Bow String with Greater Conflagration {Elite}
