Graphical and Update trouble

I was originally having trouble with graphics. All rangers (Player and NPC alike) were appearing as ice cubes. Big white cubes running around every zone. Only rangers too. To go with it, every time I started up GW I'd get a message saying "Repairing Data Archive". This just started happening two days ago and I've been playing since June. Thinking maybe a file became corrupted I did a complete uninstall, restarted the computer, and reinstalled from scratch. After I restarted and finished downloading all the maps again, everything seemed fine. I played all my characters and visited all the cities it was still running smoothly. I closed GW for a couple hours. When I went to play again I had to download all the files again. Now, three restarts later, it has to download all the files over and over. I'm getting tired of downloading several hundred megs of info just to play a game...

Here's what I've done:
Uninstall, restart, reinstall
Play, Close
Virus Scan (clean)
Adware/Spyware scan (cleaned it up)
Play (trouble)
Second un/reinstall with restart.
Play (trouble)

Any further suggestions? Think a defrag might help? Search for files to see if I have a keylogger? I'm using Norton and AdAware, both up to date, so I think a keylogger would show up on one of them.

Thanks in advance.

When you get white cubes, it usually means that the polygon models are missing.

Are you using any software or hardware firewalls?

What video card and CPU does your system use?
